Our Polytechnic in Computer Science in Lucknow is designed with the vision to sharpen the technical and practical skills of the students with strong theoretical roots. We have modern laboratories and workshops where students can explore, learn and find solutions in IT field. The course is designed to create industry ready professionals. For that a minor project work in the 5th semester and a major project work in the 6th semester have been included in the curriculum to enable the students to get familiar with the practices and procedures being followed in the industries and provide an opportunity to work on some live projects in the industry. In order to meet the requirements of future technical manpower, we will provide job oriented and industry specific education system.
Entry requirements
Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Computer Science is
Passed in High school examination (regular science academic stream) with Mathematics and with atleast 35% marks.
Diploma lateral entry (to third semester): A Candidate must pass 10+2 (regular science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics or ITI.

Course structure and modules
The duration of the course shall be for three academic years.
Every year consists of two semesters , the odd semesters shall be conducted from the month of June / July to November / December and the even semesters shall be conducted from December / January to May/June in every calendar year
Medium of instruction and examination shall be in English or Hindi as per the affiliated university or board.
How you study
A candidate is required to put in at least 75% attendance in individual subjects considering theory and practical separately. The candidate shall complete the prescribed course satisfactorily to be eligible to appear for the respective examinations.
After completion of classes a student has to appear in External Examination conducted by Board of Technical Education, UP along with viva examination.
