Passed in 10+2 examination (regular science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics. or Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination.

The duration of the course shall be for two academic years. Each academic year shall be spread over a period of not less than one hundred and eighty working days.

In addition, there shall be a 500 hours of practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.

A candidate is required to put in at least 80% attendance in individual subjects considering theory and practical separately. The candidate shall complete the prescribed course satisfactorily to be eligible to appear for the respective examinations.

After the completion of this Diploma, diverse government and private sector job are available in front of Diploma in Pharmacy certificate holders.

Diploma in Pharmacy certificate holders may start practicing as pharmacists in India. They may work at drug stores in Government hospitals, private hospitals, clinics, community health centres or private drug stores.
