Mission

The mission of the Department of Mechanical Engineering is to provide an education that builds a solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles, expands the reasoning, communication and problem solving abilities of students, and prepares diploma certificates holders who have the motivation and ability for lifelong growth in their professional careers.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Automobile / Production) department provides outstanding educational environment complemented by superior teaching as per industries requirement. The department ensures to develop in each student: self-reliance, creativity, leadership, business,moral ethics and continuing education and motivation.

The aim of Mechanical Engineering department is to mould the students for professional practice, in an era of rapidly advancing interdisciplinary technology.

The course builds on core curriculum of Board of Technical Education UP to combine individual depth of experience competence in Mechanical Engineering with excellent background in all related subjects.

The department always maintains a balance between classroom, lecture, laboratory  and lays emphasis on basic level problem solving skills, which is the need of today’s era.

Message From Head of Department

I welcome you to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at AGI,  be  a  part  of  our  journey  towards  nation building.Mechanical Engineers have an important role to play in every industry.

Mechanical engineers deal with thermal and fluid science, material science, design, manufacturing and maintenance of products, systems and processes over entire product life cycle. In todays’ world, role of mechanical engineer has expanded from conventional design and manufacturing job to offering solutions to complex interdisciplinary problems.

We have highly experienced faculty and state- of-the-art laboratories, we impart fundamental knowledge as well as core skills in the areas of mechanical engineering. The department also provides ample opportunities to experience the excitement of national and international technical events. Our founder’s vision includes strengthening the freedom of our great nation by building winning personalities out of our students.

The Department is well equipped with all machines, engines, computer lab and CAD center. The
students are given knowledge and hands on experience on various machines and equipments. This
knowledge and training imparted, enables the students to get placements in National and
