Mission

The mission of the Department of Civil Engineering is to provide students with a broad and thorough education in civil engineering fundamentals, applications and design that prepares them for the practice of civil engineering at the professional level with the confidence and skills necessary to meet the technical and social challenges of the future.

Diploma in Civil Engineering department provides outstanding educational environment complemented by superior teaching as per industries requirement. The department ensures to develop in each student: self-reliance, creativity, leadership, business and moral ethics,continuing education and motivation.

The aim of Civil Engineering department is to mould the students for professional practice, in an era of rapidly advancing interdisciplinary technology.

The course builds on core curriculum of Board of Technical Education, UP to combine individual depth of experience competence, in Civil Engineering, with excellent background in all related subjects.

Message From Head of Department

An affectionate welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering at AGI, be a part of our journey towards nation building. Our aim is to provide our students with an education that emphasizes the development of secure and healthy social habitats with focus on environmental awareness and sustainable development.

Our Civil Engineers undertake technical roles regarding the planning and project designing as well as the supervision and management of civil infrastructure projects such as highways, railways, buildings, bridges, airports, dams, water supply and waste management systems

The Department of Civil Engineering with its multifaceted faculty impart fundamental knowledge as well as core skills in the areas of Civil engineering among students . The department has well equipped laboratories for experiments. Along with Academic, the students here are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities which are essential for personality development, nurturing of team spirit and development of organizational skills.

Learning Outcome

The Department is well equipped with all machines, engines, computer lab and CAD center. The students are given knowledge and hands on experience on various machines and equipments.
